Machinery, electrical equipment, radio equipment, pressure equipment, equipment for explosive atmospheres, medical devices and construction products may follow different legal frameworks and conformity modules.

Start with the product.
Build the evidence correctly.
CE marking shows that a product covered by relevant European Union harmonisation legislation has followed the applicable conformity route. It is not a universal quality certificate, and the correct route depends on the product and legislation.
Which legislation applies to the product?
The technical file must explain conformity
Depending on the product, the file may include product description, drawings, calculations, bill of materials, risk assessment, applied standards, test reports, instructions, labels and the EU Declaration of Conformity.
A laboratory or notified body is required only when the route demands it
Some products permit manufacturer self-assessment; others require an accredited laboratory, approved body or notified body. We determine this after reviewing the product and applicable module.
CE preparation must match the product placed on the market
Importer responsibilities, manufacturer identity, model consistency, language requirements, traceability and post-market obligations are considered alongside the technical assessment.
