TGB: Turkish defence facility security clearance
Define the classified project and facility scope before preparing an application.
Applicable scope
Here TGB means Türkiye's defence-industry facility security clearance, not a general workplace safety certificate. The MSB workflow concerns controlled-list activities and classified defence projects. Identify the applicant, actual premises, project requirement and requested classification through the competent route.
Records and responsibilities
Facility protection, personnel clearance (KGB) and any production permit (ÜİB) have different functions. Occupational health and safety, fire and building obligations must be handled on their own legal basis; satisfying them does not establish TGB. Prepare an applicability note before purchasing a certificate package.
Example and limits
Example: an ordinary warehouse asks for TGB only because it has installed fire equipment. Clarify whether a defence security requirement actually applies.
