WaterMark certification for Australian plumbing products
Request preparation support for a defined WaterMark product file, with an evidence inventory, open questions and an agreed handover.
Send a defined enquiry and receive a preparation brief
State whether you need preparation for a new product, an additional model, a change to an existing licensed product or clarification of an incomplete file. Identify the manufacturer, intended licence holder and contact responsible for the records. Provide product functions, model names, intended installation conditions and any existing licence or assessment correspondence. Tell us which documents may be shared with external participants.
Kayra’s first agreed output is a preparation brief: the requested models and work, available inputs, unanswered scope questions and the parties who must answer them. A manufacturer’s product statement and a WMCAB’s accepted assessment scope are recorded separately. An enquiry or a proposed brief is not an accepted licence application.
Turn the file into an evidence inventory and action register
List each drawing, material record, report and production document with its identifier, version and the model it describes. Mark missing records and unconfirmed links between a document and a requested model. For every open item, identify the person who will obtain the record or answer, the next dependency and an agreed target for that preparation task. Evidence acceptance or additional testing questions are referred to the responsible WMCAB or laboratory.
Hypothetical intake: the enquiry lists ten models, while the supplied record set names six. The inventory shows six documented model references and four unresolved entries; it does not assume that one model’s licence covers all ten. The handover identifies the manufacturer’s missing information and the scope questions for the WMCAB. Keep those questions visible before agreeing a complete preparation price.
Agree the deliverables, quotation and handover
An agreed consultancy package can produce the preparation brief, versioned evidence index, missing-information/action register and a handover note recording questions and responses. Specify which models and revisions are included, who supplies corrections and what changes require further work. Quote preparation and coordination separately from external testing, WMCAB assessment and any other applicable tasks; confirm which party commissions and pays for each.
Close a preparation milestone when its agreed records and unresolved questions have been delivered to the named recipient. Keep WMCAB review, evidence acceptance, certification and licence decision as separate events. Kayra organises the agreed preparation; it does not act as the WMCAB, testing laboratory or regulator, and cannot guarantee a licence or decision date. The manufacturer and licence holder retain their assigned product and production duties.
