TSEK product certification: identify the accepted criterion before preparing evidence

TSEK evaluates the product against a criterion accepted by TSE; a supplier quality checklist is not that technical basis and does not establish certification eligibility.

01

Define the product and the TSEK basis

TSEK is a TSE product programme based on accepted certification criteria, distinct from the TSE route against an applicable Turkish standard. Identify the finished product, use, variants and manufacturing sites, then ask TSE to confirm the suitable programme and criterion reference/version. Lack of a supplier’s standard document alone does not establish that TSEK is the right route.

Obtain the actual accepted scope and requirements before commissioning evidence. Separate product examination from controls that maintain conformity in manufacture. The particular sample, tests, production assessment and acceptance must follow the applicable programme; this guide does not assign one checklist or inspection timetable to every product.

02

A private quality checklist is not an accepted TSEK criterion

Conditional example: the supplier sends a sheet titled “quality criteria” and asks for immediate TSEK certification, but provides no accepted TSE criterion reference. Identify who issued the sheet and which product/use it covers. Internal purchasing checks may help preparation, but cannot be renamed as TSE’s certification basis.

Ask TSE for the applicable criterion/programme position and check whether a relevant Turkish standard instead determines the appropriate route. Map the confirmed requirements to the actual product and available evidence. Keep unresolved eligibility or criterion-development questions open; a preparation quotation cannot promise their approval.

03

Prepare traceable evidence without assuming an issued result

Provide model/configuration descriptions, genuine sample/report links and manufacturing-control information relevant to the confirmed criterion. Identify differences between the evidence and planned production before relying on an older result. Laboratory findings support their stated scope; they do not by themselves issue the TSEK certificate.

The applicant supplies truthful information and implements controls, while TSE evaluates and decides in its programme. Kayra can prepare the requirement/evidence comparison and coordinate agreed work. Read the actual issued scope and current mark conditions before using TSEK in a quotation or label; separate applicable market-access duties remain to be fulfilled.
