The assessment should consider visual, phonetic and conceptual similarity, related goods and services, earlier rights and the overall risk of confusion.

Protect the right name.
Choose the right scope.
Trademark protection in Türkiye is obtained through registration before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. A sound application begins with a similarity search and a goods-and-services scope that reflects the applicant's real and planned commercial activity.
An identical-name check is not enough
Protection follows the selected goods and services
The Nice Classification contains 45 classes, but selecting a class number alone does not create an accurate scope. The list should describe the goods and services clearly and strategically.
Filing, examination, publication and registration
TÜRKPATENT examines formal and absolute grounds. Accepted applications are published for third-party opposition before registration. Timelines vary according to objections, deficiencies and official workload.
Monitoring and record management continue after registration
Trademark monitoring, oppositions, renewals, assignments, licence records and owner changes help keep the registered right enforceable and commercially useful.
Clear scope, transparent route, one point of contact.
Share your organisation, product or protection requirement. Our team will identify the information needed for the next step.
What to send before requesting a filing quotation
Share the proposed name or logo, applicant’s legal name and address, products and services, target countries and any earlier application number. For an existing file, include the latest official notice and its response deadline.
Ask the quotation to separate search and professional services from official fees, and to state which marks, classes and countries are covered. Check whether publication monitoring, opposition work and later renewals are included.
Review our application preparation and follow-up scope before sending documents. Official references: TÜRKPATENT and Nice Classification.
