Define the medicine activity and jurisdiction first

GDP preparation concerns the controlled distribution of medicinal products; it is not a general food-warehouse certificate. Identify the country, legal entity, sites and whether the activity involves finished human medicines, active substances or veterinary products. These categories do not automatically follow the same regulatory documents.

In the EEA, the route involves the national competent authority’s authorisation and inspection responsibilities; check the actual activity and any applicable authorisation exception. For Türkiye, confirm the current route with the relevant provincial health authority. The published Uşak 2025 service table is contextual evidence, not a complete current checklist for every province.

Build an initial file linking transactions to responsibilities

Map receiving, storage, supply, outsourced transport, complaints and recall activities. Link the proposed scope to supplier and recipient checks, product-specific storage conditions, responsible personnel, procedures and operating records. List missing evidence and its owner before arranging preparation work or estimating inspection readiness.

Hypothetically, a new warehouse has checked its medicine supplier but cannot document the status of a proposed recipient. A complete initial file must identify both sides of the distribution chain and the responsibility for verifying their authority under the applicable rules. A supplier’s certificate cannot establish the recipient’s entitlement or the warehouse’s own authorisation.

Separate preparation from the regulatory decision

Agree whether the requested service is gap analysis, record organisation, qualification support or preparation for an official procedure. Relevant supplier and recipient checks must be based on the actual legal entity and activity, rather than merely a familiar trading name. Retain the evidence and explain unresolved gaps.

Kayra can assist with an agreed preparation scope. It does not grant a wholesale distribution authorisation, an official inspection outcome or a regulatory GDP certificate. Those decisions belong to the competent authority. Consultancy also cannot decide medicine usability or replace responsible product-disposition decisions; this guide gives no universal storage temperature or guaranteed approval date.

Official sources

European GDP rules and the relevant national procedure must be distinguished. The competent authority decides authorisation and official compliance; Kayra’s agreed preparation support is not a regulatory certificate or product-release decision.

Is this GDP a food-warehouse programme?

No. It concerns medicinal-product distribution; the product category and country determine the applicable route.

What belongs in the initial preparation file?

Entities, sites, activities, supplier and recipient checks, product conditions, responsibilities, procedures, records and identified gaps.

Does consultancy issue an official GDP certificate?

No. Authorisation and official inspection or compliance decisions belong to the competent authority.
