01

Start with the product and applicable regulation

EAC is the common circulation mark associated with conformity to applicable Eurasian Economic Union technical regulations. A product name or tariff code alone does not settle the route: examine its function, intended use, technical characteristics and any exclusions in the applicable regulation. Do not assume every export to the region requires the same certificate.

Before quoting, assemble model names, manufacturer and factory details, product specifications, destination and whether the supply is a batch or serial production. Establish the applicable regulation and assessment scheme, including the applicant conditions, from current official requirements. Additional product-specific obligations may need separate review.

02

Separate certificate, declaration and evidence

Certification and a declaration of conformity are different routes. The applicable technical regulation determines the permitted form and scheme; choosing the cheaper document does not change those requirements. Identify who performs the assessment, who takes responsibility for the declaration and what evidence the scheme requires.

Check the selected assessment body and laboratory against their relevant official register entries and scope. A logo, sample certificate or consultant’s statement does not establish authorization for your product. A CE document or an unrelated test report does not automatically replace the evidence required by the EAEU route.

03

Prepare an application without promising approval

Conditional example: two visually similar machines have different intended functions and specifications. Keep the model differences visible and ask the responsible assessment participants to confirm whether a common scope is justified. Do not hide an untested model under another model’s name or copy a successful applicant’s file.

Kayra can help organize the technical file, identify missing inputs and coordinate questions with relevant participants. Kayra is not presented as the EAEU certificate issuer, regulator or accredited test laboratory. The responsible applicant and assessment participants retain their duties; submission does not guarantee approval, market access or a fixed completion date.
