Utility model: ten-year term
A Turkish utility model has a ten-year statutory term from filing, subject to the applicable fee obligations. Record the filing date and official status; payment does not extend the term beyond ten years or remove excluded subject matter.
Patentability conditions
Assess novelty, inventive step and industrial applicability separately using dated prior art and a feature comparison. Distinguish technical solutions from excluded subject matter. A working prototype or commercial success alone does not establish patentability.
