When is TGB required?
Determine the defence-security trigger instead of treating every workplace alike.
Applicable scope
MSB's published workflow addresses controlled-list activities and defined classified defence projects. Establish the actual activity and access requirement with the competent project/security route. Do not conclude that every factory, warehouse or building needs TGB just because its name includes security.
Records and responsibilities
Where classified information, material or a project is involved, facility and relevant personnel requirements need separate assessment and coordination. Other permissions, including any production permit, remain distinct. A general ISO, fire or municipal document cannot waive a defence-clearance obligation.
Example and limits
Example: a subcontractor moves from non-classified commercial work into a classified project. Reassess its premises and personnel requirements before assuming its old approvals suffice.
