Halal Cosmetics Audit Process
Link the brand's products to actual formulas, suppliers and manufacturing sites. Verify current cosmetics-programme authority and buyer acceptance for the chosen body.
Explain the shared-equipment case
A hypothetical cream follows products with different origins through one mixer. Prepare previous-use, storage, transfer, order and cleaning evidence and disclose unresolved contact questions. Compare the actual glycerine and fragrance-carrier suppliers with the formula. Do not infer acceptance or rejection from an INCI name or treat a general cleaning procedure as proof of this specific process.
Programme conditions and worked assessment
Example: An application uses one brand name, but two contract manufacturers make different formula versions. Create a product/manufacturer/formula table and connect origin/process evidence to the correct version. Explain shared equipment and aids at each site. Answer issuer questions with manufacturer records and compare the final product list to certificate scope. Confirm label permission after the decision. One brand name does not make every formula the same product, and sending an initial file does not approve every variant or grant mark use.
Evidence and authority boundary
The HAK register supports current body status and cosmetics-scope checks. Preparation advice does not replace the issuer's decision; cosmetic safety documentation remains a separate workstream.
