İTU Cost and Timescale: Scope, Control Visits and Decision Conditions
Give the authorised KSK the actual producer or group, products, parcels, locations and production calendar before comparing İTU prices. Ask the offer to identify control time and visits, travel, analysis arrangements, review and certification, plus exclusions and work triggered by changes. Different harvests or dispersed areas may require a different plan.
Request a quotation for the real production scope
Separate the producer’s implementation and record-keeping costs from the KSK’s control and certification charges. The authorised KSK cannot provide consultancy under article 18. A low bundled price does not remove that prohibition, and a Ministry fee table must not be assumed to be the complete private farm-certification quotation.
Check whether production can actually be controlled
Control needs to represent the relevant production stages and harvest, not simply fit the cheapest available appointment. Ask what can be assessed at the proposed time, which evidence must already exist and whether further work is needed. Missing records and unresolved findings affect the route to a decision.
Hypothetically, one quotation assumes a single visit for strawberries and lettuce, but their relevant harvest stages occur in different seasons. Supply the real crop calendars and ask the KSK to revise the control plan and costs. A shared address does not make both crops observable on the earlier visit. Do not promise both certificates by that date or fabricate evidence for the absent crop.
Distinguish a decision period from the whole project
Article 9 gives a fourteen-day decision period after control or completion of corrective actions. It is not a universal fourteen-day interval from first enquiry or payment to certification. Application, contracting, actual production availability, control and any corrections come before the applicable decision point.
Obtain a written scope, assumptions and change procedure rather than a universal fee or guaranteed pass date. Before requesting Kayra activity, establish its permitted role, relevant authority and independence. The KSK makes the certification decision; the producer remains responsible for real operations, and payment alone cannot establish conformity.
Official sources
Compare like-for-like scope and control assumptions; confirm decision-dependent timing without a guaranteed application-to-certificate deadline.

Does one address guarantee one control visit for all crops?
No. Plan around actual production stages and harvests.
May a cheap package include KSK consultancy?

The exact records for İTU Cost and Timescale: Scope, Control Visits and Decision Conditions depend on the confirmed scope. Current, consistent and traceable information reduces avoidable revisions.
Scope and decision verification
The applicant provides actual producer, product and parcel information and genuine production records. Confirm Kayra’s permitted role, relevant authority and independence before any requested activity; a commercial name or quotation does not establish KSK authorisation. İTU control and certification belong to the authorised KSK, which article 18 prohibits from providing consultancy. The producer remains responsible for implementation.
