When is EAC conformity required?
Determine whether the product falls within an applicable EAEU technical regulation, including its definitions, exclusions and relevant dates.
Apply the regulation to the actual intended product
Determine whether the product falls within an applicable EAEU technical regulation, including its definitions, exclusions and relevant dates. Product function and intended use matter alongside technical characteristics. Neither “export product” nor a customs code alone establishes one universal requirement.
If the product is covered, determine the required assessment form and scheme before circulation and the associated marking duties. If an exclusion may apply, document the technical reasons and confirm them against current official requirements. Absence of one EAC route does not establish freedom from all other product obligations.
Responsible preparation and decision
Conditional case: equipment is advertised for general industrial use but the seller relies on an exclusion for a different intended use. Resolve the actual supplied purpose and specifications; do not rewrite the description solely to avoid applicable conformity requirements.
Kayra can organize documents and coordinate questions. The responsible applicant, assessment body and laboratory retain their assigned duties. Kayra is not presented as an EAC issuer, regulator or accredited laboratory; preparation does not guarantee acceptance or a date.
