How to apply for a TSE product certificate: submit the product you can actually evidence
Align the requested model, technical basis and manufacturing evidence with the actual TSE submission; a portal field or commercial model name does not create accepted scope.
Choose the actual transaction and product scope
Tell TSE whether the intended work concerns a new product application or a change to an existing certificate’s scope, and obtain the applicable programme instructions. Identify holder, product models, manufacturing sites and the standard intended for assessment. Do not choose a transaction solely because it appears cheaper or quicker.
Arrange the company’s actual BelgeNet representative association and current submission/signature requirements. The official portal identifies company-authorised and e-government routes; a site contact form is a request for preparation support. It is not a TSE application and does not give a consultant authority to issue the certificate.
Resolve a model-entry mismatch before treating the file as ready
Conditional example: the application field says M-2, but the submitted sample report identifies M-1 and the production sheet gives a different material. Compare identifiers and configurations across the application, drawings, sample and production records. Renaming the report attachment M-2 cannot establish that M-2 was tested or accepted.
Determine whether the discrepancy is a genuine transcription error or a different product requiring additional evidence. Correct data with traceable supporting records; do not edit a laboratory’s result to fit the application. Obtain TSE’s direction on evidence acceptance and any necessary new examination before representing the scope as complete.
Track the official submission and unresolved work
Retain the submitted version and actual application reference, then record TSE’s requests, the responsible supplier of each missing input and the corresponding evidence. If product information changes during assessment, identify the change through the applicable official channel rather than silently replacing a preparation worksheet.
