How to apply for TSEK: submit the confirmed programme and matching evidence
First confirm the TSEK criterion and application scope. Then use authorised company access and submit the correct transaction; uploading a criterion file cannot turn a different programme request into TSEK.
Resolve the programme before preparing the submission
Identify the actual product, use, variants and manufacturing sites. Obtain the accepted criterion reference/version and TSE’s position on the programme before arranging the file and samples. Identify whether the company needs a new application or a change to an existing scope; the correct transaction and current attachments must be confirmed with TSE.
Use the official BelgeNet entry and its company-representative instructions for authorised product operations. Match the company, programme and product information with the actual records before sending. Keep the submitted version and receipt so later questions can be answered from what was actually supplied, not an amended local copy.
A criterion attachment does not correct the wrong programme
Conditional example: preparation established a TSEK basis, but the draft transaction is for a different product programme and someone proposes attaching the TSEK criterion to make it correct. Compare the transaction’s programme and scope with the confirmed basis before submission. An attachment does not silently change the administrative request or establish acceptance.
Ask TSE how to correct the draft or an already submitted request through the appropriate process. Make the programme, criterion and actual product evidence consistent, retaining any previously submitted version. Do not invent a portal button or advise replacing official records without traceability; distinguish correcting a transcription error from changing the requested certification scope.
Follow questions through to an actual decision
When TSE asks for clarification or additional evidence, identify the requirement, responsible person and genuine record needed. If an answer changes the model or material, compare affected reports and manufacturing controls before resubmission. A complete upload folder does not prove that TSE accepts the technical evidence.
The applicant supplies truthful data and implements controls, the laboratory reports actual work, and TSE evaluates and decides.
