G Marking: Technical Support and Assessment Authority
Separate technical preparation from the manufacturer’s duties and the officially designated G assessment tasks.

G marking is a Turkish national route for construction products placed on the market for permanent incorporation in construction works where mandatory CE marking does not apply. Determine the product, intended use and applicable technical specification before choosing the route. A cheaper quotation does not make G an alternative to a required CE assessment.
Verify the proposed provider’s actual role
Ask which tasks the proposal covers: technical scope analysis, tests, production evidence, assessment or conformity-document issue. Verify the relevant designation and product scope for regulated body tasks. A consultancy contract does not establish authority to issue a G conformity certificate.
Keep manufacturer responsibilities explicit
The manufacturer owns the product facts, production controls and truthful declaration and marking. Technical support may help examine existing evidence and coordinate legitimate product-specific tasks; it does not replace the designated body’s assessment or guarantee a favourable decision.
Distinguish technical product work from system consultancy
Where the same organisation also certifies management systems, it cannot offer client-specific management-system design or implementation consultancy through the same legal entity or controlled organisations. Generic education and legitimate product testing or technical evidence work are distinct; clarify the actual task and impartiality before acceptance.
The official Turkish product-rules database distinguishes the national G conformity certificate and/or G conformity declaration from the CE performance declaration. Required manufacturer and assessment-body tasks follow the applicable national technical specification and attestation system. A document bearing a logo does not establish completed assessment.
The manufacturer remains responsible for the product, production controls, truthful records and required declaration and marking.
