G Marking Costs and Timing: What the Quotation Must Cover
Compare G assessment quotations using the same product scope, tests, production sites and required national conformity tasks.

G marking is a Turkish national route for construction products placed on the market for permanent incorporation in construction works where mandatory CE marking does not apply. Determine the product, intended use and applicable technical specification before choosing the route. A cheaper quotation does not make G an alternative to a required CE assessment.
Use the same scope when comparing quotations
State product types, intended uses, national specification or approval route, sites and existing evidence. Separate technical support, tests, body assessment, travel and later surveillance where applicable. Two offers with different tasks are not comparable merely because both mention G.
Identify the actual time dependencies
Laboratory capacity, sample preparation, missing production records, approval needs and correction of findings can affect the schedule. Request a plan showing dependencies and responsible parties. A requested delivery date does not waive an assessment or guarantee a favourable result.
Clarify repeat work and changes
Ask how extra samples, a failed test, an additional site or changed formulation will affect cost and timing. Confirm which follow-up activities are included. Do not invent a universal fee or completion period for every construction product.
The official Turkish product-rules database distinguishes the national G conformity certificate and/or G conformity declaration from the CE performance declaration. Required manufacturer and assessment-body tasks follow the applicable national technical specification and attestation system. A document bearing a logo does not establish completed assessment.
