G Marking and CE Marking: Choose the Applicable Technical Route
Distinguish Turkish national G conformity from CE requirements using the product, intended use and applicable specification.

G marking is a Turkish national route for construction products placed on the market for permanent incorporation in construction works where mandatory CE marking does not apply. Determine the product, intended use and applicable technical specification before choosing the route. A cheaper quotation does not make G an alternative to a required CE assessment.
Determine the route before comparing marks
G concerns the national construction-product route where mandatory CE marking does not apply. A product within a mandatory CE technical scope cannot choose G merely because it costs less. Verify the product’s technical basis and intended use rather than treating the marks as interchangeable commercial labels.
Keep the declarations and assessment systems distinct
The Turkish database describes G conformity certificate and/or conformity declaration for the national route and a manufacturer’s performance declaration for the CE construction-product route. Check the applicable national rules and task allocation; do not rename a CE document and assume it fulfils G requirements.
Assess the destination market separately
Turkish national G marking does not automatically meet EU or other-market requirements. Determine the destination’s specification, assessment, declaration and marking rules. Existing test evidence may be considered only where method and scope are relevant; a national mark is not an export licence.
The official Turkish product-rules database distinguishes the national G conformity certificate and/or G conformity declaration from the CE performance declaration. Required manufacturer and assessment-body tasks follow the applicable national technical specification and attestation system. A document bearing a logo does not establish completed assessment.
