Start with the Turkish application or registration number, current recorded owner, parties and authorised instructions. Obtain the actual agreement and describe the goods or services, territory and other relevant terms. A business asset list or distributor description is not enough to establish title or the power to dispose of a mark.

Keep a transaction schedule distinguishing which right is assigned, licensed or pledged and which party signs in what capacity. Check the required registry operation rather than assuming one agreement creates every requested recorded outcome. Preserve the submitted documents and official receipt, then compare the resulting register entry with the approved transaction.

Hypothetical initial-file decision

Hypothetically, a distributor has permission to use a manufacturer's mark and includes it in a proposed loan-security schedule. The lender calls the schedule an assignment. Identify the recorded proprietor and the distributor's actual contractual permission before preparing any filing. Ask qualified counsel to examine whether the proposed security can be created by the relevant party and on what terms. A licence to sell branded products must not be presented as ownership or as automatic authority to pledge the mark.
