01

Information needed for a quotation

Provide the model and variants, intended use, design information, manufacturing location, target market and planned release date. Identify which samples and reports already exist. Different products sold under one series may require different evidence; an unfinished design may cause repeat tests after changes.

02

Separate the cost components

Documentation, tests, design corrections and any required notified-body assessment have different outputs. Check whether existing reports cover the current model and relevant requirements. A quotation should specify included work, exclusions and the conditions for additional costs. No single general CE tariff establishes the total price of every project.

03

Schedule completion conditions

Track preparation, sample readiness, testing, necessary third-party review and the manufacturer’s final verification separately. Sample delivery is not completion of conformity assessment. Kayra’s consultancy fee concerns agreed preparation and coordination tasks; favourable test results or body decisions are not guaranteed. CE marking is not a universal annually renewed certificate, so retention, changes and any certificate conditions must be checked under the applicable product rules.
