Information for a comparable quotation
Provide product/kit definition, intended use, variants, sites, target market/date and the applicable cited standard or ETA basis. Include existing reports, declarations and production-control records with their actual scope. Product count alone cannot describe the missing assessment work.
A hypothetical kit dossier contains a component test but no evidence for the assembled joints. Separate what that report demonstrates from the unproven finished-kit characteristics. Agree the evidence review before pricing the dossier as complete; report acceptance belongs to the competent assessment route.
Separate preparation and external assessment costs
Quote scope/evidence preparation separately from required laboratory work, notified-body tasks, samples, travel and production corrections. Specify who commissions each task and whether a relevant-body certificate is required under the applicable assessment system. There is no universal construction-CE price inferred from a city name.
If a formulation or substrate changes, testing or assessment may need reconsideration. State the dependency, responsible party and quotation revision rather than treating every retest as included. Purchasing consultancy cannot guarantee that evidence is accepted or performance meets the intended building requirement.
Milestones and ongoing changes
Plan product definition, route confirmation, gap closure, external assessment and manufacturer declaration as distinct milestones. CPR transition depends on the actual product specification; the calendar date alone does not convert all dossiers to one new-format declaration.
Keep inspection/surveillance and later site or variant changes within the applicable programme's conditions. CE is not one universal annually renewed certificate. Compare offers by tasks, exclusions and evidence responsibilities; Kayra cannot fix an independent decision date or promise a positive result.
Responsibility
Kayra supports technical scope, records and external-assessment coordination. The legally required manufacturer declaration and assessment-body decisions remain with their respective responsible parties. No notified-body, TAB or nationally assigned-body status is claimed; no positive result or fixed completion date is guaranteed.
