01

Define tasks before requesting a price

Provide product/use, specification, applicable system, sites, processes, equipment, responsible staff and existing control records. Identify whether the needed external deliverable is performance assessment, FPC certification or another assigned task. Comparing certificate titles alone hides different workloads.

Hypothetical case: procedures exist, but two shifts use different measurement records and calibration status is unclear. List the affected controls and the missing implementation evidence before costing preparation. A paper-only review cannot be quoted as complete site readiness.

02

Separate implementation, testing and body fees

Price preparation/training, measurement or equipment corrections, product tests and required initial body inspection separately. In a system requiring FPC certification, identify the actual body scope and surveillance conditions. An optional ISO 9001 audit is not automatically a substitute for this product-specific work.

If equipment or control records cannot support the declared characteristics, plan correction and evidence of effectiveness before the next step. Confirm who performs and pays each task; a consultancy fee does not include every laboratory or independent-body charge or purchase a positive outcome.

03

Timing and continuing obligations

Agree milestones for scope confirmation, implemented control, external review and manufacturer declaration. Inspection availability and correction evidence can change the schedule; Kayra cannot guarantee an independent decision date. Surveillance and later changes follow the applicable certificate/specification conditions, not a universal annual CE renewal rule.

An added plant or changed production process can alter the assessment scope. Record the change, obtain the relevant body's guidance where its task is affected and revise costs/tasks explicitly. Compare offers by actual coverage, exclusions and ongoing duties rather than a single certificate price.

04

Responsibility

Kayra supports technical scope, records and external-assessment coordination. The legally required manufacturer declaration and assessment-body decisions remain with their respective responsible parties. No notified-body, TAB or nationally assigned-body status is claimed; no positive result or fixed completion date is guaranteed.
