Batch and operating evidence
A harvest batch should be traceable to its producer and plot. Check input application dates, quantities and relevant pre-harvest waiting information. Connect sample identity and report dates to the actual product; do not extend one plot’s analysis to every product without justification.
Continuity after the audit
Follow control findings, corrections and scope changes with the authorised body. Assess a new season, product or plot against the certificate’s existing scope. Labels and logo use follow ministry rules; an old certificate copy is not proof of current validity.
Timing and cost planning
Plan preparation around the production calendar, existing records and analysis needs. Separate consultancy, the authorised body’s control and certification services, and laboratory analyses. Subsidies or export acceptance cannot be guaranteed by a certificate alone; check each programme’s own requirements.
Scope discussion and responsibilities
Kayra Patent consultancy supports scope definition, record organisation and tracking unfinished preparation work. The relevant authorised or scheme approved body performs the audit and makes the certification decision. Separate consultancy and that body’s services in the quotation.
