Evidence basis
Recipe complexity, supplier documentation and shared production lines affect halal food assessment work as well as product count. Use the current HAK register and food scope to check the proposed body's claim. A displayed logo alone is insufficient evidence of current authority.
Change and record example
File example: A flavour in the approved recipe is purchased from a new supplier, while purchasing attaches the old certificate to the new batch. Compare material code, manufacturer, certificate scope and batch record; an identical trade name does not establish identical origin. Submit the change against the issuing body's agreed programme. Do not silently add a new variant to the approved product list. Connect label printing with review milestones rather than promising approval while evidence is missing.
Quotation and schedule checks
Separate preparation, assessment or audit, possible additional review and mark-use charges in the quotation. Supplier responses, corrective work and the body's schedule can change timing. Verify the product list, certificate scope and current status together. Payment and a consultant's completed file do not establish product approval.
