Describe the real installation for the proposal

Provide lift identity, installation site, speed, capacity, travel and design parameters, drawings, component documents and selected procedure. Supply calculation, control and final-test records linked to the actual installation. Identify missing or conflicting building-interface information, rather than pricing only by model or number of stops.

Example: documents cover one shaft arrangement but the installation has different pit or clearance conditions. Record the mismatch and who must complete the physical/design work. A similar lift certificate does not justify treating the real site as ready for the required assessment visit.

02

Separate preparation, corrections and external assessment

List consultancy preparation, design or installation corrections, required tests and the chosen body procedure separately. Unit verification and a quality-system route do not have identical scope or cost. Identify who orders and pays for each task, including access to the real installation and any repeat verification.

A component certificate must match the installed model and use conditions. If its limit is not met, clarification or correction is needed before acceptance. Site readiness and body findings affect the schedule; payment for preparation does not guarantee a positive final decision or a certificate date.

03

Plan readiness, responses and remaining obligations

Distinguish design/file completion, physical readiness, assessment/testing, responses and the installer’s actual outputs as milestones. State the owner and closure evidence of each open item. The competent notified body retains its procedure-specific task; Kayra tracks preparation without promising its outcome or date.

Include the effect of control, component or design changes in the proposed scope. National operating maintenance and periodic checks remain separate from placing-on-market CE work. Compare proposals by included installation, evidence and external tasks and exclusions; do not treat a consultancy quote as a purchase of universal building acceptance.

04

Responsibility

Kayra supports the scope note, evidence plan and assessment coordination. It does not claim notified-body or accredited laboratory status and does not guarantee a positive result or fixed certificate date. Manufacturer and required assessment-body duties remain separate. This guide addresses the EU/EEA route; national market and operation rules need their own check.
