Select for the actual product

Compare the standard scope with product type, intended use, users and technical construction. Another product’s standard is not selected merely because the supply voltage is similar. Check relevant parts and product-specific conditions together.

Verify official references

Check the harmonised standard version, Official Journal reference, conditions and limitations. Presumption of conformity concerns covered safety objectives, not automatically every aspect of the product. Identify partial application and alternative technical solutions.

Justify the sample plan

List differences in models, supplies, critical components, enclosures and manufacturing versions. Explain which differences each sample represents; do not extend one result to the whole series without evidence. Sample circuitry and components must match the report.
