Read the report’s actual scope

Record model, sample identifier, circuit or component version, standard and applied methods. Read findings and attachments rather than relying only on the cover conclusion. Explain differences when using a report for another model.

Map objectives to proof

The file must enable conformity assessment using design/manufacturing descriptions, risk analysis, drawings, standards and solutions, calculations and test records as relevant. A report in a folder does not prove every objective. Track missing requirements, uncovered methods and sample/production differences as open work.

Declaration and production

The manufacturer issues the LVD EU declaration and maintains production conformity. A test report does not replace these duties. Update the file and review evidence after design changes.
