Evidence basis

Manufacturer identity, covered material and the source used in the formula must agree in an organic cosmetics application. The current COSMOS ORGANIC requirements and labelling guide govern the programme claim. Check the body's authorised status in the owner's register.

Change and record example

File example: A cream's oil now comes from another manufacturer, but the old organic certificate remains in the file. Compare identity, certificate coverage, validity and batch traceability. Do not reuse the old organic calculation before the new evidence is accepted. Update recipe quantities and the claim denominator, then have the label reviewed. A supply shortage does not let a consultant waive programme conditions; any possible exception follows the actual authorised body's rules.

Quotation and schedule checks

Separate organic supply documentation, formula variants, contract sites, assessment, licensing and label work in the budget. Missing evidence can delay review; do not promise one fixed price or approval date. An accepted raw-material document and permission for a finished-product signature are distinct outcomes.
