Patent application
A patent application needs an enabling description, claims, abstract and any necessary drawings, together with applicant/inventor and priority information. Freeze the technical disclosure before submission. Commercial claims and an incomplete sketch cannot replace a reproducible teaching.
File case: the description omits the mechanism, drawings use conflicting references and a claim adds a feature absent from the original text. Record structure, operating conditions and variants in the technical interview. Build a drawing–description–claim consistency table and show each assertion’s location in the initial disclosure. Read search and examination separately and calendar annual fees. A favourable search comment is not a grant document.
Patent description
A patent description must explain the technical problem, solution and examples sufficiently to support the claims. Check terminology and drawing references for consistency. Advertising benefits alone do not enable a skilled person to carry out the invention.
Patent abstract and drawings
A patent abstract summarises the technical disclosure; drawings explain features using consistent reference numbers. Check every drawing reference against the description. Neither the abstract nor an attractive drawing replaces supported claims and an enabling technical explanation.
Patent search report
A patent search report identifies relevant earlier documents for particular claims. Read the cited passages, dates and categories and prepare a feature comparison. A search report is evidence for analysis, not a final grant certificate or a guarantee of freedom to operate.
Patent examination report
Read a patent examination report by separating each objection, affected claim and cited evidence. Build a response matrix supported by the original disclosure. A positive search comment does not automatically resolve clarity, sufficiency or later examination objections.
Patent annual fees
Patent maintenance needs a calendar linked to filing dates and the applicable annual-fee year. Verify the current official tariff and payment record. Payment to an intermediary does not prove that the office received the correct fee for the correct patent.
Patent grant decision
A patent grant follows the competent office’s examination and required formal steps. Check the grant decision, approved claims, fee status and register entry. A search report, supplier promise or test result is not a patent grant.
Official filing and support
This guidance concerns Turkish rights unless a section expressly names another jurisdiction. Kayra can coordinate research, document preparation and follow-up. Registration, opposition and grant decisions belong to the competent office. Verify any required representative’s registration and authority before appointing them; court proceedings require appropriately qualified legal representation. The enquiry form requests consultancy, and does not itself file an official application.
