Confirm the criterion and product boundary

For TSEK, identify the criterion accepted by TSE for the actual product, its reference and version, and the permitted product/use boundary. Do not invent a criterion from the supplier’s brochure. Check whether the relevant Turkish-standard TSE route, rather than TSEK, is the correct request.

Example: a new model is proposed while an applicable Turkish standard already covers the product. A different trade name does not by itself justify TSEK. Clarify the actual route with TSE; TSEK does not replace CE or other mandatory product rules.

Map the criterion to real technical and production evidence

Create a requirement-to-evidence table using the agreed criterion: actual model, technical description, drawings, material/variant differences, samples, test reports and production-control records. TSE determines the assessment and whether existing reports are accepted.

Example: a prototype report covers one material and thickness, but the proposed production variants differ. Identify exactly which requirements the report supports and which remain open. Do not describe the whole range as conforming until the further evidence and production assessment are resolved.

Official submission, decision and mark conditions

Prepare the correct BelgeNet application with the authorised company role and current official KEP/e-signature conditions. Keep criterion, product, manufacturer and factory information consistent. Sending Kayra a request is not an official TSE application.

TSE decides certification and mark-use conditions. Kayra can organise the evidence and gap plan but cannot issue TSEK or accept a report for TSE. Application alone does not permit the mark; later variant or factory changes must be checked against the actual certificate conditions.

Responsibility

Kayra supports the defined preparation work. TSE certification and the competent defence security authority’s decisions remain official functions; Kayra does not issue these certificates or promise a positive decision. The responsible applicant retains actual product, facility and implementation duties.
