The official transition allows V6 audits through 30 April 2027 and V7 upgrade audits from 1 May 2027 to 30 April 2028. Recheck effectiveness after a detection-system change
FSSC's additional requirements include equipment management. The preparation review should identify operational changes since the previous audit and whether existing control evidence still represents the equipment in use. An old corrective-action closure may need current supporting evidence.
Hypothetically, foreign-object detection software changes, but the closed action points only to checks for the old model. Compare the change record, current settings, responsible technical review and genuine effectiveness checks for the actual line. Do not treat the supplier's invoice or a renamed report as proof; do not prescribe an unverified universal test size.

Assign remaining reviews, staff handover and evidence retrieval to responsible people. Keep actual dates, findings and limitations visible, and verify that completed work addresses the operational gap. Do not reconstruct missing historical checks from memory as if they were original records.

Consultancy cannot automatically extend certification, remove a nonconformity or guarantee a successful V7 upgrade. The applicant implements the system and prepares procedures specific to its own operations and operating records. For FSSC certification, separately verify the selected legal entity’s programme licence, relevant scope and current status; ISO 22000 accreditation alone is not an FSSC licence. A management-system certification body, other parts of the same legal entity and controlled entities cannot offer or provide management-system consultancy; separate contracts do not remove this restriction.
