Identify the product and applicable technical route
Record the manufacturer, product or kit, intended use, variants, sites and target market. Check the actual harmonised specification citation and scope; a standard number on a supplier report is not proof that it covers your finished product. Where appropriate, consider the actual ETA route rather than inventing a generic CE certificate.
The main CPR 2024 provisions apply from 8 January 2026, but product families migrate individually. Products covered by old-framework cited standards can remain under preserved CPR 2011 provisions. Determine the applicable product route before choosing declaration terminology or transferring a supplier document.
Connect performance evidence to the configuration
Create a characteristic-to-evidence table using the applicable specification and assessment system. Identify tested model, materials, joints, substrate, method and report owner; distinguish manufacturer tasks from required notified-body work. AVCP systems are allocations of responsibilities, not grades of product quality.
Hypothetical case: a panel kit changes its fastener and supporting substrate, while its fire report describes the old assembly. Mark the unproven link, obtain the relevant assessment of evidence acceptance and plan any necessary additional work. Do not copy the old result to every kit variant without justification.
Declaration, marking and continuing responsibility
The manufacturer draws up the required declaration and applies CE after the applicable assessment work. Verify any required body's current NANDO product/task scope. CE does not approve every proposed building use; the declared performance must be read against the project's requirements.
Kayra can organise the scope note, evidence gaps and external-work coordination. It does not issue the manufacturer's declaration or make a notified body's decision. Keep production control and changes linked to the assessed product; a quotation or report delivery alone is not permission to mark.
Responsibility
Kayra supports technical scope, records and external-assessment coordination. The legally required manufacturer declaration and assessment-body decisions remain with their respective responsible parties. No notified-body, TAB or nationally assigned-body status is claimed; no positive result or fixed completion date is guaranteed.
