Determine the actual assessment system
Identify the construction product, intended use and current technical specification before allocating tasks. Factory production control is the manufacturer's continuing product-specific control, not simply an ISO 9001 certificate or a folder of procedures. AVCP system numbers describe responsibilities, not ascending quality levels.
Read the applicable system for the actual product/use and characteristics. A requirement for a laboratory assessment is not automatically a requirement for FPC certification. Verify the relevant body's product/task designation where third-party work is required; do not choose a certificate from the page title alone.
Show control in real production records
Connect received materials, equipment settings, in-process checks, declared characteristics and release decisions. Identify responsible people, actual methods and the records needed by the specification. A written instruction without implemented evidence does not demonstrate production control.
Hypothetical case: a batching sensor fails while concrete production continues. Identify affected production and which records remain reliable, separate questionable output and document the competent product decision. Rewriting the procedure does not reconstruct missing measurements or justify release without assessment.
Separate manufacturer and body tasks
Under system 2+, the notified body assesses/certifies FPC through the applicable initial inspection and continuing surveillance, while the manufacturer retains its assigned production/evaluation duties. Under system 3, a notified laboratory's performance assessment does not remove manufacturer FPC. Confirm the actual route rather than transferring one system's tasks to another.
Kayra supports task/evidence mapping and gap follow-up; it cannot issue the body's decision or sign the manufacturer's declaration in that role. Keep plant, product and changes within the assessment scope. A favourable inspection alone does not prove every product or site has completed its applicable obligations.
Responsibility
Kayra supports technical scope, records and external-assessment coordination. The legally required manufacturer declaration and assessment-body decisions remain with their respective responsible parties. No notified-body, TAB or nationally assigned-body status is claimed; no positive result or fixed completion date is guaranteed.
