Inputs for a defined quotation
Supply the product/kit definition, variants, intended use, manufacturing sites, available standards analysis, drawings, reports and production-control records. Identify which parts are missing or inconsistent. Quote preparation against this actual file; product count alone does not describe the assessment workload.
Example: an existing report covers one component but the application concerns a kit with different joints. List what the report demonstrates and what it leaves unresolved. Do not price the file as complete until the relevant body has considered report acceptance and the necessary assessment scope.
Distinguish preparation, external assessment and corrections
Describe consultancy tasks separately from the appointed body’s assessment charges, external testing or inspection, and any production corrections. Confirm which party requests and pays for each item. There is no justified universal UTO price or fixed timetable that can be inferred merely from a city or service-page title.
If a report cannot be linked to the actual formulation or intended use, the next step may be clarification, justified additional evidence or testing. State the dependency and agree the work before treating it as included. A paid preparation service does not ensure that evidence will be accepted or that an approval will be issued.
Milestones, changes and remaining conformity work
Plan product-definition completion, gap review, the body’s assessment, any testing and responses as separate milestones. Record responsibilities and the evidence needed to advance each step. The assessment decision belongs to the competent appointed body, so Kayra cannot promise its outcome or a decision date.
Include document conditions, later variant/site changes and any remaining national conformity-confirmation or G-route work in the scope discussion. Do not present the quotation as purchasing CE marking or a construction-project permit. Compare offers by their stated tasks, exclusions and unresolved evidence dependencies rather than one headline fee.
Responsibility
Kayra supports technical scope, records and external-assessment coordination. The legally required manufacturer declaration and assessment-body decisions remain with their respective responsible parties. No notified-body, TAB or nationally assigned-body status is claimed; no positive result or fixed completion date is guaranteed.
