Checking construction product documents
Checking construction product documents. Match the declaration, label, product type, intended use, factory and technical specification.
Verify identity, scope and status
Match the declaration, label, product type, intended use, factory and technical specification. Where a notified body is involved, confirm its current notification and the scope and status of its document directly through the body and official information. A printed certificate number or future expiry date does not alone establish validity.
If a factory production control certificate is suspended, seek the issuer’s current decision and the manufacturer’s corrective action before relying on it. A distributor’s saved PDF does not establish that surveillance remains satisfactory.
Construction product scope and evidence
Identify the product, intended use, manufacturing site and destination market before selecting a cited harmonised standard or an ETA route. An EN number alone does not establish coverage: compare its scope, applicable edition, essential characteristics and official citation. CE marking follows the applicable assessment, technical documentation and the manufacturer’s declaration; a generic certificate or ISO 9001 cannot replace these steps.
CPR transition and responsibilities
Regulation (EU) 2024/3110 largely applies from 8 January 2026, but product families migrate when their new technical specifications become applicable. Products covered by standards cited under CPR 2011 generally continue on that framework during transition. Check the product-specific legal dates and Türkiye’s current national rules separately. The manufacturer issues the declaration and remains responsible for production control; notified bodies perform only their assigned tasks. Kayra supports preparation and coordination, without promising a decision or delivery date.
