The chain of impulses
Fingers that move along the long input feed can clench hands during manual loading.
For Horizontal flow-pack machine, the applicable CE scope is determined from intended use, energy sources, safety architecture and target market. The risk assessment, technical file, testing and conformity route must be verified against the actual model.

The technical limit of the Flowpack line is set by product range, input feed length, thrust step, film width, package length, jaw diameter, source temperature, and rotation speed. The product can come from an automatic feeder, manual load, or prior process machine. If the external feeding system uses a common speed reference, the position in one unit should not lead to product accumulation or unexpected restart in the other.
Throughout the long input chain, pushers and guides create a finger-catching risk. Film stairs and neck bear the risk of welding wheels and hot surface. The rotating ends of the jaws close at high speed; the same element can be cut when the package is glued. The transparent lid, motion must not be completely unlocked or access must be delayed. If stepwise motion is used to set the film, the speed of motion and vision condition are limited.
The feeding band, neck patch and edge jaws form the product line of the vertical form-shifting machine. The first market offer or first service in the EU/AEA is implemented on 19 hob 2027 when 2006/42/EC is applied. The first event (EU) from 20 hob 2027 is based on 2023/1230; national compliance with 2006/42/AT is checked separately in Turkey. Servo architecture and electronic control require EMC assessment. The machine in the EN 415-3 form-fill-closing principle is not applicable to electrical equipment. The separate LVD declaration for the machine is not applicable. The complete protective and safety function tests can be completed and the hygiene evidence can be traced in a separate group of devices.
The following data shows why even models with the same product name can change the path of conformity.
The protective, control and verification approach shall be based on the actual product cycle.
Fingers that move along the long input feed can clench hands during manual loading.
The stairs and the welding wheels can pull their finger in while passing the film; safe step-by-step movement is required.
High-speed jaw is a risk of crushing, cutting and burning at the same point.
Mistiming can drag the product into the mechanism; the intervention should not be done without motion.
The previous process machine or central prescription should not automatically start without checking the flowpack field.
A single product name doesn't give the same answer for all models.
| The subject | The situation | Product-based evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| The Commission shall adopt implementing acts in accordance with Article 21 of Regulation (EC) No 2006/42/EC and Turkey's 2006/42/AT. | YES, YES | The directive period begins with the first supply or first service in the EU/AEA for a horizontal form-shift packaging machine. |
| (EU) 2023/1230 | IT 'S A MESS . | For the EU/EEA, the Regulation period begins when the horizontal form-shift packaging machine is first offered or first put into service. |
| The following information is provided for in Article 2 (1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2014: | IT 'S A MESS . | Servo, sensor and heater control are evaluated as electromagnetic. |
| 2014/35/EU LVD | NO , NOT AT ALL . | Electrical hazards are assessed in accordance with Appendix I 1.5.1 to the documentation 2006/42/AT on the horizontal form-shifting packaging machine; the product feeder or electrical module sold alone is examined in its supply status. |
| 2014/68/EU PED | IT 'S A MESS . | The gas washing procedure is checked with delivery and pressure data. |
| The following information is provided: | IT 'S A MESS . | If the combustion product, film or gas produces explosive atmospheres, it is also evaluated. |
ISO management system certification does not replace product-specific risk analysis, test evidence and compliance file.
The input is written to the model with feed, thrust, film, packaging, jaw and speed ranges.
Film transfer, product loading, phase setting and compression removal are connected to safe operating modes.
Stand time, lock, step motion, heater and energy conversion are verified at the highest speed.
The order of the feed, the joint emergency stop, the product collection and restart are controlled together.
The prescription, cleaning, safety records and statement are all terminated with the same product identification.
The manual feeding requires a separate automatic line synchronization with the single prescription machine.
Compare the top coverage or other similar risk architecture.
Flowpack is the continuous form-flowing principle where the product is wrapped in a film in horizontal flow, folded into the neck and closed with rotating end brackets.
The need to load the product is preserved; access to dangerous propulsion and thrust areas of the hand is limited by appropriate geometry or protective equipment.
Safe access depends on the actual standby time, and the fast standby or lock-and-lock response is measurement-verified.
If there's a common circuit and signal, there's a risk of call-facing, and the presence of a separate statement doesn't eliminate end-line restart approval and posture analysis.
Contact material and hygiene evidence are kept separate, and the mechanical, thermal and electrical safety is verified in the CE file.
When the previous process stops, the pushers and rotary valves are put in a safe position; no automatic start is given until the product is assembled and the phase setting is made in an authorized mode.
