The rocks and the pieces that popped
High-energy parts from the crushing chamber, shut or broken guard can create a wide hazard area.
For Crushing, screening and mining machinery, the applicable CE scope is determined from intended use, energy sources, safety architecture and target market. The risk assessment, technical file, testing and conformity route must be verified against the actual model.

The jaw and impact crushers reduce size with high energy; the vibrational mill does the sorting of the waste, and the ball mill performs the grinding inside the rotating body. These different principles show that the same protective solution cannot be used even if they are in a common facility.
The main expectation is that the operator does not approach the breaking room while the machine is running; however, maintenance requires replacing the wear plate, rotor hammers, drain wire or grinding pad. The safe lifting points of large parts, the mechanical fixing of the rotor or drum, the discharge of hydraulic accumulators, and the locking-labeling arrangement are part of the technical design.
In Turkey, the following national conformity legislation in Turkey is also verified on the date of the first market offering or first service of the machine. Remote monitoring, software-changeable speed and load limits, autonomous feeding control and capacity increases can be predicted. This preparation does not reduce the existing obligations of the 2026 machine.
The extent of the explosive atmosphere does not automatically apply to every stone-breaking plant; the characteristics of the processed material, dust density, ignition sources and facility allocation are not given an ATEX decision. The pallet or isolated unit with a fixed facility does not share the same settlement assumptions: pump location, new hydraulics, sloped terrain, remote controls, and additional conveyors pose dangers. If the option is offered, each working and transport configuration is validated by the installation of the sensor, the conversion of energy, and the protection of the sensors.
Name similarity alone is not sufficient; the energy source, intended use, and safety architecture are read together.
| Product or limit | The distinguishing feature | The relevance of the results |
|---|---|---|
| What is the material being processed? | The density, maximum particle size, moisture, corrosion resistance and dust properties define the design boundaries. | |
| Is the machine mobile or fixed? | The chassis, stability, transportation location, terrain layout and access routes require different evidence. | |
| How do you open the bar? | In the remote solution, hydraulic opening or manual intervention method, energy isolation and falling part control are shown. | |
| How does the strip change? | Weight, lifting ear, fixing arrangement and operating platform are confirmed in the maintenance plan. | |
| Do you have a central control? | Start-up time, early warning, failure propagation and emergency zones are examined at the facility level. | |
| Does the dust have explosive properties? | The ATEX product scope is substantiated by the material test data and field allocation. |
The protective, control and verification approach shall be based on the actual product cycle.
High-energy parts from the crushing chamber, shut or broken guard can create a wide hazard area.
The rock that is stuck can suddenly empty; the jaw, rotor, or feeder can make unexpected movements.
The rotor, eccentric mile and milling drum continue to move after the power is cut, requiring delayed access and mechanical stabilization.
With high platforms, heavy suspension and debris parts, causing falls, jamming and lifting accidents.
The continuous emissions affect the health of the operator and the durability of the equipment around it.
The accumulator and hoses in the opening, bending or protection system carry energy stored during maintenance.
A single product name doesn't give the same answer for all models.
| The subject | The situation | Product-based evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| The machine's layout | YES, YES | In Turkey, 2006/42/AT is applied for mining machinery; the next national compliance is confirmed on the date of the minerals processor's first market offer or first service. The integrated risks of fracking, scrap and milling are examined. |
| EMC | IT 'S A MESS . | EMC scope is assessed in terms of the intended environment; driver and communication patterns affect test requirements. |
| LVD | NO , NOT AT ALL . | The LVD is not applied to machinery as a separate directive; electrical safety objectives are met within the scope of machinery legislation. |
| PED | IT 'S A MESS . | Not every part of the hydraulic system is PED; the pressure equipment within the scope is classified separately by PS and volume. |
| ATEX | IT 'S A MESS . | It may be used if intended for use in an explosive atmosphere due to burning mineral or metal dust. |
| Noise and vibration | YES, YES | Emissions from machinery shall be assessed in terms of risk mitigation, measurement and reporting in the instruction manual. |
ISO management system certification does not replace product-specific risk analysis, test evidence and compliance file.
The maximum feeding size, density, humidity, capacity and prohibited materials are written as technical limits.
The points of responsibility of the feeder, conveyor, shutter, aspiration and control signals are shown.
Trapped to normal breakage, wear part change and entry scenarios are examined.
The protective, platform, fixation, electrical, positioning and start alerts are confirmed by field tests.
The installation conditions, basic loads, safe operating limits and report are closed with the latest configuration.
The size of the machine, the number of variants, the field integration, maintenance access, noise-dust measurement and the lack of engineering records determine the duration of operation.
Compare the top coverage or other similar risk architecture.
The documentation of the machines is required, but the risks arising from the joint control and material flow are assessed separately at the plant level, including the start time and the emergency standby interaction.
The safety of the method depends on the condition of the machine's energy, the material falling, the access to equipment and the connecting points predicted by the manufacturer.
No, the burning of the material being processed and the presence of explosive atmospheres in the field are determined by evidence.
The noise emission of the machine shall be determined by the relevant method and reported in the instructions where appropriate.
The sensor's avoidance position, control circuit reliability, standby time and remaining mechanical energy are confirmed together.
The EU/EEA supply of the EU/EEA shall be based on 2006/42/EC, including 19 hob 2027, followed by (EU) 2023/1230; the existing file may be updated by analysis of gaps.
Share the model of the machine or device, the location of use and the basic technical data. The Kayra Patent explains the path to be followed for scope analysis, technical preparation, test plan and, where necessary, approved organization coordination.
