Opening the lid under pressure
Early opening of the lid can cause the hot liquid and steam to be discharged with high energy.
For Fabric dyeing machine, the applicable CE scope is determined from intended use, energy sources, safety architecture and target market. The risk assessment, technical file, testing and conformity route must be verified against the actual model.

Jet, overflow, packaging or horizontal type paint machines have different fabric circulation and pressure patterns. Design temperature, maximum permitted pressure, body volume, fluid characteristics, and cover diameter are the basis of technical identification. The manufacturer sets safe limits, taking into account not only operating pressure but also possible thermal expansion, closed valve and pump scenarios.
The lid should not be unlocked when pressure or dangerous temperature is present inside. The dependence between the mechanical lock, pressure sensor and control logic is studied as a safety function; not only the pressure indicator on the screen. The risks of leap, bloating and faulty valve order are assessed at the lid counter change, sampling, filter cleaning and paint chemical insertion points.
Safety information forms of the painter, acid, alkali and auxiliary chemicals are included in the decision to ventilate by material selection. ATEX allocation may be made if the use of a combustion solvent is involved; the aqueous process is not automatically ATEX. The temperature of the discharge fluid, the need for neutralization and the safe transfer of the connection to the plant system are specified as a limit condition in the installation instructions.

ISO management system certification does not replace product-specific risk analysis, test evidence and compliance file.
