Information for a quotation

Provide model and variants, function, installation, intended users, drawings and control diagrams. Distinguish individual-machine work from line integration, and prototype readiness from series-production or installation dates.

Cost and schedule

Risk findings may require guards, control-system verification or new tests; organising a file cannot replace missing design work. Separate consulting, corrections, testing and any required notified-body assessment. Define milestones by completed evidence. A laboratory delivery or file handover is not completion of all market-placement duties.

Market date and responsibility

For the EU/EEA route, machinery placed on the EU market before 20 January 2027 must comply with Directive 2006/42/EC; Regulation 2023/1230 applies mandatorily from that date.
