Reuse module evidence where justified and identify remaining assessments. Copying module information onto the label does not complete the final manufacturer's file.
Radiated behaviour, permitted operating conditions and exposure may change. Match antenna type, gain and connection to existing tests. Determine additional measurements and documentation. Fitting the same connector does not establish conformity equivalence between antennas.
Check target-market bands and conditions, including how users can alter power, channels and region settings. The new mode may be absent from earlier tests. Align testing, instructions and necessary assessment outputs before releasing the update.
Compare connectivity, functions and processed information with the additional requirements' scope. Internet-connected, wearable and certain payment-enabled equipment may raise different questions. Determine the finished-product supplier's role under applicable law. The module file may not fully address antennas, power, software and integration in the final device. Arrange technical record access contractually and identify ownership of the finished-product file and declaration clearly.
Share the subject, organisation or product, target market, current evidence and target date. The team can then separate consultancy, official fees, independent evaluation and realistic timing.
