Identify technical specifications and required characteristics for each use. Common test evidence may be reusable, but a concrete file should not automatically be assumed to cover asphalt. Map product type, grading and declared use separately. Stating both uses in the quotation helps identify missing tests early.
Examine geology and effects on characteristics. Assess representation using sampling, production and source records, then update necessary tests and controls. An unchanged licence area does not establish unchanged physical or chemical properties.
Determine the name and performance declaration under which the product is supplied. Supplier reports do not automatically cover your screening, blending and storage effects. Trace sources and incoming controls and connect final types to evidence. A supply agreement does not replace the technical basis of your declaration.
Define product types and control boundaries where proportions or components affect performance. Justify permitted ranges for variable blends technically. Do not sample only a blend producing favourable results. Records should show that routine output maintains declared characteristics.
Review batch, source, grading, moisture and storage for the rejected shipment. Compare sampling and test methods and investigate effects such as segregation during transport. A favourable new result does not make the earlier delivery conforming automatically. Identify other affected deliveries and plan correction.
Check status, surveillance duties and restored production controls. Assess quarry, equipment or source changes separately. Do not present old reports as definitive evidence of current output before required notifications and tests. Allow sampling and review time in restart planning.
Quarry and operating permissions concern legal activity status. CE work concerns declared performance and production control for a particular construction use. Neither replaces the other. Map source, fraction, intended use and technical references while keeping permits current separately.
