A satisfactory post-harvest analysis alone does not establish past practices. Review the available period and evidence rather than promising retrospective certification.
Good Agricultural Practices and organic production have different rules and certification processes. Conformity with one does not automatically create the other's status. Evaluate inputs, claims and labels under the relevant system. Shared records can support both, but each system's conditions must be met separately.
Products, growing periods and practices should remain separately traceable. Assessment of one crop does not automatically include every crop on the plot. Connect input and harvest records to the relevant product. Match the application and certificate list with the actual production plan.
Trace the input identity, quantity, date, area and responsible parties. Check authorisations and use conditions under applicable rules. A service invoice may not provide every technical detail. Agree beforehand how changes in inputs and deviations will be reported.
Assess timing, affected area and product status. Determine sampling and notification needs and plan measures addressing the source. One result may not explain the full event history. Do not assume product status or release decisions before the relevant assessment is completed.
Review current validity, product scope and new-period control duties. Update records for changes in areas, producers or practices. Previous-season conformity does not automatically confer status on the new harvest. Confirm follow-up and renewal arrangements with the authorised body before production begins.
Share the subject, organisation or product, target market, current evidence and target date. The team can then separate consultancy, official fees, independent evaluation and realistic timing.
