PCoC and SCoC: product evidence versus shipment evidence
Know which record covers the product and which connects it to a specific consignment.
PCoC is the product conformity record
For the regulated product route, the product certificate follows the accepted body’s assessment of the product models and technical evidence. Check actual identity, coverage and expiry. A valid PCoC helps establish eligibility for the shipment request, but it does not describe every later invoice or quantity and does not itself complete the shipment-certificate procedure.
SCoC links eligible goods to the shipment
The shipment request selects eligible products and models, links invoices and quantities, and identifies the shipping country. Regulated products go to the relevant body for approval. Example: a consignment adds model B while the PCoC covers A; a matching invoice does not cure missing product coverage. Kayra can reconcile records and coordinate clarification. Neither preparation nor payment replaces the body’s decision.
