Build a product-specific technical file
SASO’s product-certificate service requires product registration, model numbers and a technical file suited to the technical regulation and product type. Prepare a model register, manufacturer identification, product specifications, relevant test reports and labels or instructions required for that product. Check additional licences or marks where applicable. This is a working preparation list, not a universal statutory checklist; the accepted body confirms the evidence required for the actual scope.
Keep shipment records distinct
The official shipment guide links products to invoice data, selected models, quantities, barcodes and shipping country. Regulated products need a valid product conformity certificate and the relevant body’s approval; non-regulated products follow the applicable self-declaration route. Reconcile the submitted shipment data with the goods and commercial documents. A technical report is not a shipment certificate, and an invoice is not proof of product conformity.
Correct inconsistencies without rewriting history
If the report, label and invoice identify different models, document the difference and obtain the necessary clarification or evidence before submission. Do not alter a laboratory report or fabricate a test result.
