Verify the actual notification and agree preparation separately from assessment.
Check notification and procedure
Check current official notification, product category and procedure scope. A body listed for a safety component is not automatically competent for the completed lift’s unit verification. Identify site visits, tests, type/design coverage and quality-system tasks included in the proposal. General accreditation or a familiar logo does not establish the relevant notification.
Define consultancy deliverables
Kayra can organise technical files, readiness gaps and replies. Price this separately from physical correction, tests and notified-body assessment. If an offer promises whole-lift acceptance using only a door-lock certificate, require the missing installation evidence. The installer remains responsible for the lift; Kayra is not presented as a notified body or a national periodic-inspection organisation.
