Lift CE after changes: approval, surveillance and operation

Review changes and the selected route
Do not describe every installed lift as requiring annual CE certificate renewal. Check the actual type/design approval and quality-system route, its status, conditions and change duties. A changed control or safety component may affect assessed conformity. Where a quality-assurance route applies, its notified-body surveillance is distinct from national in-service inspection.
Preserve the operating duties
Maintenance and periodic examination follow the applicable national regime; a CE file does not replace them. Türkiye lists separate operating and maintenance legislation alongside 2014/33/AB. Record modifications, evidence and competent-body responses rather than simply changing an expiry date.
