Review existing national and harmonised specification scopes first. Absence of the product's trade name from a title does not prove exclusion. Clarify UTO suitability with the designated body. Prepare identity, application and technical reasons why existing references are insufficient.
Use the approval's defined family and technical boundaries. Where thickness, recipe or connections affect performance, demonstrate variant representation. Adding options to marketing lists does not include them automatically. Determine the variants to be assessed during development.
Check technical approval separately from applicable attestation and marking duties. The governing framework determines production controls, tests and third-party tasks. Providing a technical basis does not automatically fulfil every manufacturer obligation. Establish the complete output list for the actual scope.
Assess the new site's materials, processes and controls against existing technical coverage. Determine notifications and additional assessment with the designated body. Sending the same recipe alone does not demonstrate equivalent manufacturing. Define file access and change controls in the contract.
Characteristics, samples, conditioning and methods are product-specific. An incomplete definition can force repeated programme changes. Review existing reports against methods and sample coverage. Separate usable evidence, new studies and decision stages in the quotation to support realistic timing.
Match the affected product to the approved version and conditions. Investigate production, storage and installation separately and identify batches. Follow applicable notification and correction conditions. Approval cannot justify an excluded application or a later manufacturing defect.
