Check the official product record and scope
Search the official database with the actual licence number, brand and model. Compare licence holder, specification, model listing and current status with the supplied product and its marking. Keep the checking source and date; a logo or supplier’s screenshot alone does not prove a matching current licence.
Read the Scope of Use and installation limits. A licensed component does not approve an entire assembly or building design. If the database cannot be searched, a model is absent or status is unclear, obtain clarification from the licence holder or WMCAB rather than assuming validity.
Responsible preparation and decision
Conditional case: the licence number is genuine but belongs to a different hose construction. Trace liner, fittings and model differences and seek the responsible coverage decision. Do not claim the proposed product licensed merely because brand and number appear plausible.
