TSEK cost and timing: price the confirmed criterion and evidence gap
A useful TSEK quotation identifies the programme basis, configurations, evidence acceptance and separate tasks. The official mark-use fee enquiry is not a complete project price.
Confirm the technical basis before comparing prices
Provide the product use, variants, manufacturing sites and available reports with the criterion reference accepted for the project. If that basis is unresolved, separate the work to clarify eligibility from the work to demonstrate conformity. An offer that assumes a criterion already exists cannot reliably price a project in which TSE still needs to clarify the programme position.
Ask for separate amounts and scope for actual TSE programme charges, laboratory work, sample preparation, applicant corrections and consultancy. The official public enquiry names TSE/TSEK mark-use charges and distinguishes manufacturing place in or outside Turkey. It is a specific fee enquiry, not evidence of an all-inclusive certification price; no amount or complete tariff is reproduced here.
Commercial variants do not determine the test budget alone
Conditional example: three sales codes are quoted as three equal variants, but two share the same construction and the third changes a performance-relevant material. Supply the configuration comparison and existing report identities. Do not conclude that three full test programmes are necessary, or that one report covers all three, just from the sales-code count.
Confirm with TSE how the accepted criterion treats the differences and whether the existing evidence can be used. Obtain quotes for the resulting actual sample, method and preparation needs. Record exclusions and responsibility for any additional evidence, so a later technical gap is visible rather than disguised as an unexplained price increase.
Use evidence milestones rather than a promised certificate date
A workable schedule separates criterion/programme confirmation, complete information, usable samples, laboratory results, manufacturing corrections and TSE acceptance. Identify who supplies each missing input and the evidence that closes the stage. Report reuse, sample readiness and unresolved findings can change the sequence; a portal submission date alone is not a completion date.
Kayra can quote its agreed preparation and coordination work, while the applicant bears real implementation tasks and TSE retains programme decisions. Explain how changed configuration, rejected evidence or extra work affects the offer before agreement. Do not guarantee acceptance, a fixed test count or a certificate deadline without the actual programme and project inputs.
