TSE product certification: cost and timing
Estimate preparation, official work, tests and production gaps separately; a TSE mark-use fee enquiry is not the total project price.
Describe the work that needs pricing
Provide applicant, product and standard, brands/models, factories, existing full reports and known gaps. State whether this is a first application or a change to an existing scope. The product name alone does not show which evidence is reusable or which examination and production work remains.
The quotation should identify the proposed scope, preparation deliverables, excluded tasks and parties responsible for missing evidence. Ask TSE about the actual programme and current official charges for that transaction. A report from another configuration should remain unresolved until its relevance is accepted, rather than silently priced as usable evidence.
Do not compare a mark-use amount with a complete project
Conditional example: one offer cites only a figure from TSE’s mark-use fee enquiry, while another estimates file preparation, necessary tests and official work. These are different cost boundaries. The official enquiry is labelled TSE/TSEK mark-use charges; it does not by itself price the entire certification project.
Separate contracted preparation, TSE assessment/certification charges, external examination or sample work, and the company’s actual production corrections. Confirm inclusions and exclusions for identical models and sites before comparing totals. Payment for a fee line or consultancy does not establish certification or remove an unresolved product requirement.
Build timing from dependencies and completion conditions
Plan technical-basis confirmation, authorised application, file/sample readiness, TSE examination and any correction responses as distinct milestones. Identify who supplies each missing input and what demonstrates completion. If an unready sample or production control delays a milestone, update the plan instead of presenting a finished file as a completed certificate.
Kayra can plan contracted preparation and coordinate agreed tasks; TSE controls its programme evaluation and decision. The company implements production corrections. A fixed positive decision date cannot be inferred from an initial quotation. Current fees and actual procedure are confirmed for the identified scope, with no universal price or calendar promised here.
