Choosing TGB preparation support
Separate consultant deliverables from the Ministry's clearance authority.
Applicable scope
Ask for defined preparation work: reading the current MSB instructions, reconciling applicant/site data, reviewing the required file and tracking gaps. A private firm's inspection or ISO certificate is not an official TGB. Kayra is not presented as the issuing authority.
Records and responsibilities
Agree access permissions, document custodians and handling arrangements appropriate to the information. Start with non-classified scope facts; do not give a consultant unrestricted access merely because a quotation uses the word security. Actual applicant authority and required personnel arrangements must be established separately.
Example and limits
Example: a provider promises to issue TGB from its own office after payment. Reject that issuer claim and request a Ministry-based route and scoped deliverables. Preparation fees buy the agreed work, not a favourable clearance decision or exemption from official examination.
